During those 2 years, you will learn all about French Gastronomy to become an Executive Chef, but you also learn all about hospitality, so you know how to manage an entire restaurant or hotel. Besides, we will teach all about management, therefore it is not only about the technical culinary skills. Paid-Internships in French Fine Dining Restaurants


2 Paid-Internships offered by SHG Lyon

In each of the 2-years' curriculum, students undergo a paid internship over a 6-months period. The remuneration depends on the country where the restaurant is located and may include accommodation and meals. In any case, the internship opportunities offered by SHG Lyon are always in French Fine Dining Restaurants for this FG MBA. Thus, SHG Lyon takes care of all the necessary arrangements. Transportation expenses to the internship destination are usually born by students.

  During and after each internship, students are evaluated and graded by the restaurant. Following each internship, students will write a report as evidence that he/she has fully mastered the internship's objective.

Admissions & Fees

  • Motivation letter (at least 500 words)
  • Interview (via Skype or Face to Face with one of our admission officers)
  • High School Degree (Baccalauréat / Maturité)
  • Bachelor Degree from any institution


  • Tuitions fee: EUR 10'850 / Year or EUR 970 / Month (Monthly payments only for local students having a French Bank Account and French Guarantors)
  • Administration fee: EUR 250 / Year
  • Uniform Kit: EUR 400 / Year

Important: All fees must only be paid to the school bank account directly, never to agents, neither to Rep. Offices.
